Townsley R

Pastor Ron Townsley was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma. He graduated from Centralia High School (Illinois) and then enrolled in Gateway College of Evangelism (St. Louis) pursuing a Degree in Ministerial Studies. There he met and married Bonnie Sanders of Kennett, Missouri. After graduation, he served as Pastoral Assistant at Florissant Vally Apostolic Church (St. Louis Metro). In 1978, he assumed the Pastoral responsibilities of the First Apostolic Church of Flora, Illinois. From Flora, he assisted in ministerial duties at Silverhill Pentecostal Church of Rockford, Illinois, pastored by John R. Bailey. In 1992, the Townsley family relocated to Manhattan, Kansas, where Pastor Townsley lead for five years. Spring of 1997, he found his way back to Illinois and became pastor of the Princeton United Pentecostal Church. From Pastor Townsley's first service, his motto has been "Onward and Upward." The United Pentecostal Church of Princeton, IL is continually moving "Onward and Upward" through the vision and leadership of this anointed shepherd God has placed in Princeton!
