Our Pastor

Pastor Ron Townsley was born in Cheyenne, OK to Mr & Mrs Bob Townsley. He graduated from Centralia, IL high school before heading to Gateway College of Evangelism for 3 years. There he found and became married in 1972 to Sis. Bonnie Sanders. After graduation, he assisted Bro. Sanders in MO., followed by pastoring in Flora, IL for 12 years, and had 2 sons, Greg and Chad, while there. From Flora he assisted in Rockford, IL with Bro. Bailey. In 1992 he became pastor in Manhattan, KS for 5 years. Spring of 1997, he found his way back to Illinois and became pastor of the Princeton United Pentecostal Church. From Pastor Townsley's first service until even today, his motto has always been "Onward and Upward." The United Pentecostal Church of Princeton, IL is continually moving "Onward and Upward" through the vision and leadership of this anointed shepherd God has placed in Princeton!
